Surfboard building. It’s a funny “business”. Some people do it for the money, some people do it for the fanfare. We do it because we love making things that stoke people out. A lifetime of board building has taught us a lot and we see a lot of different things come and go. We ain’t just talking about a dozen years here, collectively we have over 220 years of experience under our roof, name another factory with that sort of resume…
One thing remains the same, our pride in our product, because at the end of the day that’s what it’s all about for us. None of the other fluff, the fancy videos, the marketing, the incessant trumpeting, just THE BOARD. Getting you the best board we can. Stoking you out. Nothing is more gratifying than hearing someone talk about their experience with their new board, seeing that look in their eyes.

Every single one of our boards is handmade start to finish in our Byron Bay factory, that way we handle every single aspect of its manufacture. We use only the best materials currently available, which are constantly changing and being reviewed, with absolutely zero compromise on quality. Every step is crucial in making sure a Vouch Surfboard ends up being exactly the way it’s supposed to be. When people mention “second to none” then they obviously haven’t entered us into their comparison, it’s that simple.

Evan and Paul design it together, Paul shapes it, John, Zach or Billy laminate it, Evan does the fins, hot coats and finish coats, Zach sands it and Rodrigo polishes or wet rubs it. Every single pair of hands that touches your board take pride in making sure the finished product is as close to perfect as possible.

Making surfboards is all we do, day in and day out. It ain’t just a hobby, it’s all we’ve ever done.
